Passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the age of 59 years. The daughter of the late Neil and Maurine (Flynn) Jenkins was born on September 19, 1959 in Midland. She married Maurice Cradit on October 13, 1984; he predeceased her on March 6, 1996. Julie was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and gardening. Julie especially loved to care for children, working with day care both at home and at church. Her pride and joy was caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Sara (Anthony) Cradit, Matthew Cradit, and grandchildren: Alyssa and Austin. Julie is also survived by her brothers: Ronald (Sue) Jenkins, Alan Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, her special friend, David Padilla and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Doug Mater will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
