Judith “Judy” Ann Tyler of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the age of 76 years at Avista Nursing and Rehab. She was born on July 12, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Earl Burnell and Opal Pearl (Everett) Lamping. Judy married Roger L. Tyler on May 29, 1969; he preceded her in death on January 21, 2001. She enjoyed car rides, fishing, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children: Melinda Tyler and Larry Tyler; four grandchildren: Robert Bower, Opal Bower, Robert Tyler, Isaac Tyler. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lee Tyler II on December 30, 2014; and two brothers: Ronald and Danny Lamping.
A funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Saginaw First Church of the Nazarene, 3000 Davenport Ave., Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Gabriel Beelen will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48063 on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the First Church of the Nazarene.
