Judy was born on December 27th in West Frankfort IL to the late Edward & Dorothy (McGill) Adkins. From the moment she entered this world, she brought love, joy, and compassion to all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a nurse, Judy spent 44 years tirelessly tending to the sick and vulnerable, showing kindness, and providing comfort to those in need. Her patients and colleagues alike were touched by her gentle demeanor, expertise, and unwavering commitment to healing. She viewed her profession not as a job, but as a calling to make the world a better place.

In addition to her dedication to her profession, Judy’s faith guided every aspect of her life. She was an active member of Christian Celebration Center in Midland Ml and Gracevalley Church in Saginaw Ml, where she served as a choir member and volunteered for various charitable activities. She is preceded in death by her husband Chet Crites, her beloved sister Marylin, and her brother Bill. She also leaves behind a community of friends and colleagues who will forever remember her warm smile, compassionate heart, and unyielding spirit.

The legacy of Judy will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. Her dedication to caring for others, her strong Christian faith, and her love for her family and friends will be cherished and remembered for generations to come. Interment ceremony will be private with a celebration of life at a later date.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
