Joyce Ann Sullivan (Liphard) of Saginaw/Bridgeport
Passed away on Thursday, October 27th, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 66. She was born on March 23rd, 1956, in Saginaw to her mother, the late Harriet Snyder (Mott), and raised by her grandmother Irene Mott. A 1975 graduate of Arthur Hill, Joyce spent her working years at the Saginaw County Osteopathic Society, Meijer Saginaw & Flint, Dawn Donuts in Buena Vista, and T&A Truck Stop. She met Larry Sullivan through Larry’s sister Debbie, and the couple Married on February 14th, 1981. He survives her. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed traveling to fairs and carnivals, playing bingo, crocheting, fishing, camping, and holding rummage sales. She was a card queen at Euchre and loved playing pool. Joyce is remembered as being a loveable and proud grandmother with a heart of gold who loved helping people. She was sometimes a firecracker but always fun to be with.
Joyce is survived by her husband Larry Sullivan; daughter Rebecca Trevino; grandchildren Ruben Trevino Jr., Anthony Trevino, and Annalicia Trevino; siblings Terrie (Joe) Smith, Arthur (Dawn) Murphy, and Glenda Murphy; and aunt Geraldine Thornton; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother Harriet Snyder; and grandparents Irene Sells and Bruce Mott.
A funeral service for Joyce will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, at W.L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw, Rev. Ted McCulloch presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm, and from 10:00am until the time of service on Thursday. Burial is to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those wanting to make a show of their sympathy may wish to consider a contribution to the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
