Kartz, Joy M. Saginaw, MI Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at her home on August 22, 2014, at the age of 78. Joy was born May 20, 1936, in Saginaw to the late Charles and Eva (Peters) Riselay. She married Frank Kartz on October 13, 1956; he survives her. She enjoyed bus trips to the casino, being outside, and spending time with family and friends. Besides her husband Frank she is survived by her children, Matt Kartz and Jodi Kartz-Kostelnik; grandchildren, Brandon and Lucas Kartz, Jessica and Kaitlyn Kostelnik; and siblings Betty Miesel and Dave Riselay. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Walter David will officiate.
