Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on October 04, 2022, at Covenant Harrison after a lengthy illness. Age 77 years. Josephine was born on March 18, 1945, in Saginaw to the late Frank and Josephine (Gute) Wanek. She proudly received her high school diploma at the age of 42, graduating second in her class. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #22. Josephine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family and many friends.

Surviving are her husband Gerald Crawford, daughter Jennifer Wilton, three step-children: Randy (Tammy) Crawford, Ronald (Denise) Crawford, and Melissa Richards; grandchildren Dallas and Jason Wilton, eight step-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Penelope and Rondica.

Honoring Josephine's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
