Beloved husband, father and papa passed away surrounded by his family on January 10, 2026 at the age of 65 years

Johnny was born on November 18, 1960 in West Palm Beach, FL. He retired in 2012 from Bierlein Construction after many years of service. He married Alicia Barsenas on August 5, 1995; she survives him. Johnny was a member of St. Francis of Assisi. He loved being outdoors: fishing, camping, hunting, biking, Budweiser, and most especially enjoyed the company of his friends and family.

Surviving besides his wife Alicia, are his children: Jessica Barsenas, Erica Amaro-Barsenas, special son Joseph Zapata, his grandchildren whom he lovingly gave pet names: Destiny “Destiner”, Jasmine “Mun”, Nevaeh “Rose”, Elena “Chunky-Monkey”, Ellia “Sue-Sue”, Cyprian “Little Gũey”, Angel “Girl”, Vincent, his mother Alberta (Hernandez) Amaro and 10 siblings, including special baby brothers Hipolito Amaro, Rueben Amaro, Joseph Amaro, his special in-laws: Connie Barsenas, Joaquina Barsenas, Mark Perry, his camping buddies and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including his godchildren: Jesse Aguire, Jr., Christopher Perry, David Garcia, Juanita Amaro-Cruz, Meera Herandez, Cassandra Amaro. Besides his father, Emilio, Johnny was predeceased by his father-in-law Cyprian Barsenas.
