Johnnie Manuel Cuevas

Johnnie Manuel Cuevas, a compassionate soul who touched the lives of many, passed away on December 13, 2023, at HealthSource in Saginaw. He was born on June 7, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan.

Johnnie had a diverse career that spanned different industries. He worked for the Grey Iron Foundry, where he dedicated himself to his work with passion and commitment. Later in life, Johnnie found fulfillment in a career in telemarketing, using his excellent communication skills to connect with people.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw, where he was involved with the Cursillo.

One of the defining qualities of Johnnie was his compassion for others. He had a heart that radiated kindness and love towards his nieces and nephews. They held a special place in his heart, and he always made an effort to create memorable experiences for them. Johnnie's warmth and care will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Beyond work and family, Johnnie had a deep appreciation for music. He found solace and joy in listening to the timeless tunes of the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Queen. These artists helped shape his perspective on life and brought him immense pleasure throughout the years.

Johnnie will be dearly remembered by his surviving family members: four sisters Marie Cuevas, Patricia Cuevas, Angie Baker, Lucy Rodriguez and one brother Donato Diaz; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Viviano A. Cuevas and mother Mary L. (Lomas) Cuevas; sister Vickie Cuevas and brother Viviano Cuevas Jr.; a special aunt Angie Robles; and niece Tara Marie Cuevas.

The family would like to thank Sue and Shannon for their loving care at HealthSource.
