Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Health Source, with his family at his side; at the age of 75 years.

The son of the late John and Lorraine (Peters) Sedlik, John was born on March 12, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. He will fondly be remembered as the family handy man; he was mechanically inclined and loved to fix anything. Great communicator, jovial, and quick-witted with puns, John could also tell hilarious dad jokes.  Above all, John cherished the time with his family and loved ones.

Surviving besides his wife, Jean Sedlik; are his children: Jenny and Cliff Robinson, John Sedlik II, Christopher and Mary Warner, Jamie Warner, Robert and Samantha Warner; grandchildren: Zoe Huffman, Gracie Sedlik, Savannah (Peter) Miller, Rachel Krolewski, Sarah Krolewski, Mason Warner, Matthew Warner, Anthony Warner, Evie Warner, Andrew Warner, Benjamin Warner, Caitlyn Warner; great-grandchild: Leo; sisters: Helene (Frank) Chavez, Jane Brewer; and brother-in-law: Phil Thompson. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends. John was preceded in death by his infant brother: James Sedlik; and his sister: Maryann Thompson.

Honoring John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service has taken place with the immediate family. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Humane Society of Saginaw County.
