Beloved husband, father and uncle went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2020. He was 66 years old. John was born on May 13, 1953 to the late Raymond and Margaret (Zimmer) Gelski. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting, going up north and traveling. John was very hard-working, generous, smart and patient. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 324. John was also very devoted to his family. John married Cindy Neuenfeldt on July 12, 1976; she survives him. He has three sons, John R. (Gelski II) Pastukhov, Raymond J. Gelski III deceased, and David A. Gelski. He is survived by three siblings, Raymond J. Gelski II, Eric Sanders, Lashawn Zimmer. He is predeceased by two siblings, Jake Suppes and Lynnann Suppes. A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until the time of service.
