It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Michael Pasko, 86, of Saginaw, Michigan, on June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on November 10, 1939, to John Paul and Theresa (Summers) Pasko, John grew up with a strong work ethic, a curious mind, and a natural talent for fixing just about anything.

In 1958, John met the love of his life, and the two were married in April 1959. Together they built a life grounded in devotion, partnership, and deep family bonds. John was a proud husband and a wonderful father, always ready with a steady hand, a thoughtful solution, or a bit of humor to lighten the day.

A true jack‑of‑all‑trades, John found joy in building and maintaining cars and houses, crafting with wood, painting, and taking on any project that challenged him. In his younger years, he loved hunting and fishing, and he cherished the time spent at the cottage he built in Tawas — a place that became a family treasure. Snowmobiling and hands‑on work kept him energized, and he approached every task with determination and pride.

To those who knew him, John was the embodiment of generosity and kindness. His family describes him as determined, always ready for a challenge, loving, and endlessly giving. He was a great dad, a devoted husband, and a man whose quiet strength and gentle heart left a lasting mark on everyone around him.

John’s legacy lives on in the family he loved, the places he built, and the countless moments of care and craftsmanship he shared throughout his life.

He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 67 years, Joan; as well as his children, Joni (David) Moll, and Jack (Kevin Smith) Pasko; his brother, Joe (Renee) Pasko; his sister, Theresa (Charlie) Filipiak; his grandchildren, DJ (Julie) Moll, Drew Moll, Crissy (David) Ferrill, and Allison (Kirk) Grames; his great-grandchildren, Roark, Bellamy, Roland, Lincoln, Kelley, Zac, Logan, Ava, Zoey, and London; as well as many other extended family who's hearts John touched.

John was preceded in passing by his parents.

The family invites all to gather in celebration of John on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 1:00pm at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. John will be laid to rest next to his parents at Mt. Olivet Cemetery following the celebration.
