Mallek, John F. Saginaw, MI John passed away October 1, 2015 at the age of 85. He was born in Saginaw on March 30, 1930 to the late Francis and Lillian (Shannon) Mallek. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. During his life he enjoyed hunting, camping with family, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by 5 children, Frank Mallek of New Port Richey FL, Cathy (Manuel) Villanueva of Warren MI, Linda (James) Nesbit of Saginaw MI, Lori Badour of Okemos MI, David Mallek of Saginaw MI; step-children, Brian (Becky) Spann & Tammy Premo; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ballien, Janice Lauckner, & George (Ruth) Mallek. He was predeceased by his wives, Lorraine Mallek Ivie and Patty Mallek and his brother Dan Mallek. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw St., Merrill, MI. Father Richard Jozwiak will officiate.
