Our beloved father, son, brother and friend passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the age of 57 years.
John was born July 8, 1964, in Saginaw, MI to Marjorie (Manor) Schrems and the late Joseph Schrems. A warrior throughout life, he enjoyed spending time with his cherished daughter Cera, being near the ocean, muscle cars, and making his loved ones laugh.
He is survived by his daughter Cera; his mother Marjorie; siblings Linda (Lee) Albrecht, Mark (Pamela) Schrems, Mary (Bruce) Pahlkotter, and Donald (Perri Fairchild) Schrems; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Schrems.
Private family burial services will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends and family will gather for a Celebration of Life at the Bridgeport Davis Park, Mill St. and McKinley Rds. Bridgeport, Michigan from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 14, 2021. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (https://www.jdrf.org/) would be appreciated.
