Joey Loeblein,
Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at his home at the age of 51. Joey was born in Saginaw on August 25, 1968 to Elwin Loeblein and Wanda Roe. He graduated from St. Charles High School, class of 1986 and later married Carol Dangel in 1993.

Joey worked as a fabricator for many years at Wendling Sheet Metal. He enjoyed spending much of his time in the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and camping in Albright Shores. He loved to play pool and spend time with his dog “Scoop,” but most of all he cherished his time with family, especially his grandbabies.

Surviving are his wife and children; Carol, Amanda (Joseph) Spahr, and Mason Loeblein. He is also survived by his grandbabies Lucas Nuffer , Lenore Spahr and his nieces and nephews; DJ Loeblein, Jacob Loeblein, Kassie Helfrecht and Noah Beyersdorf. His brother and sister Daniel Loeblein, and Kari Helfrecht also survive him as well as his father Arthur Helfrecht.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Helfrecht.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family in care of Carol Loeblein.
