JoAnn H. Peters of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 85 years old. JoAnn Helen Rachow was born on February 23, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Alfred W. and Lula E. (Meir) Rachow. She was a 1956 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, she met the love of her life, Russell B. Peters, through her sister. They were united in marriage on June 20, 1959; he preceded her in death on July 23, 1997.

Surviving are two sons: Andrew (Patricia) Peters of Wheeler; Russell and (Charlene) Peters of Thomas Township; two grandchildren: Kelly (Christopher) McFadden of Merrill; Christopher (Michelle) Peters of Plymouth; and three great-grandchildren: Connor and Kassidy McFadden, and Henry Peters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Peters; great-granddaughter, Lorelei Jean Peters; two sisters: Mary Randall and Judy Corne.

A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Pastoral Minister Tori Little will officiate. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
