Joann L. Heinrich Merrill, Michigan Passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 61 years. The daughter of the late Ernest and Marvel (Doehring) Novak was born December 8, 1951 in Merrill, Michigan. She married Herman W. (Skip) Heinrich on January 19, 1980. He survives her. She was employed by Hemlock Elevator Co. and retired from St. Mary's Hospital with 29 years of service. She attended Merrill Wesleyan Church and enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, baking and word puzzles. Surviving besides her husband, Skip, are a son, B. J. Heinrich, Merrill, MI; three step-children and their spouses, Simone and Tim Stonerock, Grand Rapids, MI; Michelle and Jamie Brown, Breckenridge, MI; Wendy Heinrich, Merrill, MI; seven grandchildren, Kaylee Stonerock; Michael McKiness; Corey, Megan and Anthony Shankel; Justin Brown; Kevin Heinrich; a sister, a brother and their spouses, Shirley and Carl Bruse, Hemlock, MI; Gerald and Serena Novak, Merrill, MI; several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and other relatives. The funeral service will take place at Noon Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Glen Pettigrove will officiate with burial in Lakefield Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
