Joan Catherine Neuenfeldt Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the Bavarian Comfort Care. Age 84 years. The daughter of the late Catherine (Gerger) and John Mayer was born August 5, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Duane Neuenfeldt, October 22, 1955. He passed away January 17, 1993. Joan was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone Co. retiring with 28 years of service. She was an active member of St. Dominic Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church. She enjoyed crafts, loved to do jig saw puzzles and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and family. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Michael and Elaine Neuenfeldt, Birch Run, MI; Linda and Ronald Feith, Saginaw, MI; Sharon and Jim Stadler, Oro Valley, AZ; four grandchildren and their spouses, Brian Feith; Matthew and Kayla Feith; Kimberly Feith; David Neuenfeldt; two great grandchildren, Kaden and Eli; a brother and his wife, Jim and Kathy Mayer, a sister-in-law, Jeannette Mayer; several nieces and nephews. A bother, Robert Mayer and a sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Tom Bellil have predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church, 4735 W. Michigan, Saginaw. Rev. Steve Gavit will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
