Alexander, Jerry R. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away on Sunday, February 07, 2016 at the age of 75 years. The son of the late James and Elizabeth (Eurich) Alexander was born on June 5, 1940 in Saginaw. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 1958. Jerry retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 37 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and games of horseshoes. Surviving are his children: Jill (Rick) Gehringer, Lori (Bill) Anders, David (Wendy) Alexander, Shawn (Jennifer) Alexander, Kelli (Rich) Hendrick, Chad Alexander, 10 grandchildren: Brett, Katie, Sarah, Billy, Jody, Katelynd, Brooke, George, XiXi, Matthew, three great-grandchildren: Ava, Harlow, Parker, his brother James (Nancy) Alexander, his special friend Sheila Baumler and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jerry was predeceased by two sisters: Lorna (Bob) Roka, Jeanne (Steven) Richardson. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Tom Nuelle will officiate with entombment at Chapel Hill Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
