Jerry M. Goodman Cadillac, Michigan formerly of Bridgeport Passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018, at the age of 82 years. Jerry was born October 15, 1935, in Arkansas to the late Bert and Lola (Wymer) Goodman. He married Shirley Carbeno on August 30, 1975; she predeceased him November 1, 2013. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, fiddling in his garage, taking naps after dinner and making sure his hair was neatly combed. He was soft spoken, kindhearted and loved animals. He was loved and will be missed by his daughter, Roxann Goodman; granddaughter, Jodi (Thomas) Lucius; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Joshua Lucius; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Kolinski; siblings, Bert Goodman, Ruth Mader, Carol Long and Genevieve "Paulette" Goodman; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Hoxie and his fishing buddies in Beulah. He was predeceased by his son Roger Allen; step-son, Leonard Kolinski; and siblings, Arthur Goodman and Wanda Long. The family would like to thank the staff of Green Acres Senior Living in Cadillac for the excellent care they provided to Jerry. Funeral services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Mike Westlock will officiate with cremation to follow. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 468 in St. Charles.
