Jerry Leroy Hall

Jerry Leroy Hall of Saginaw

Went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022. Jerry was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to Walter Hall and the late Karen (Easterly) Hall, and started school in Bridgeport before attending high school in Decatur, Illinois. Jerry’s life revolved around music, especially heavy metal, and he had a particular love for the band Machine Head. He wouldn’t wear anything if it wasn’t Rock ‘n’ Roll, especially his one-of-a-kind shoes. Jerry also enjoyed watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A stubborn but loveable goofball, Jerry was focused whenever he had something in his head, especially if it came from “Pops.” He was a man guided by faith who loved his twin sister and family, and is remembered as being funny, affectionate, and caring.

Jerry is survived by his “Pops,” Walter Hall; siblings Kelly Darby, James Hall, and twin sister Karrie (Ed) Sayan; and stepsiblings Peggy Ware, Rick Merrow, and Ben Merrow; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and his faithful cat Buddo.

Jerry was preceded in death by mother Karen Hall; and stepmother Bertha Hall.

In accordance with Jerry’s wishes, cremation is to take place, with a memorial service celebrating Jerry’s life at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 3rd at Tri-County Worship Center, Auburn, Michigan, Pastor Merle Alba presiding. Those wanting to make a show of their sympathy may wish to make a contribution to the Humane Society of Saginaw County. Please share your thoughts, prayers, and memories with the family at the church or through www.casefuneralhome.com.
