Jacob, Jeffrey Carl, Saginaw, MI, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, left this earth to spend everlasting life in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in his home with his girls by his side, on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Age 66 years old. Jeff was born on December 5, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Carl and Alyce (Knezek) Jacob. He Married Kim R. Wagner of Shields on February 14, 1986. Together Jeff and Kim had two daughters, Megan N. Pyman (Jacob) and Morgan A. Schaffer (Jacob). Jeff was a member of St. John’s Lutheran, on Brockway in Saginaw.
He joined the US Navy at San Diego and served in the Vietnam War. He was stationed on the USS Ticonderoga and aided in the landing of the last Apollo (17) Mission. Jeff was a well-known salesman at Leath Furniture where eventually he became the store manager. In 2001, Jeff and his wife Kim, purchased an amusement park in Au Gres, Michigan, which they named AuGres Water Funland. Working alongside him, daughters Megan and Morgan gained a strong work ethic. In Jeff’s free time, he enjoyed family reunions, along with gardening, birdwatching, the outdoors, and bowling.
Jeff is survived by his wife Kim Jacob, his two children and their spouses, Megan (Thomas) Pyman, Morgan (Adam) Schaffer; 4 grandchildren, Izach, Josiah, Brooklyn, and Abel; one Brother Larry (Judy) Jacob. Also, his mother-in-law, Ruth (Don) Wagner-Belisle. Jeff is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeff was predeceased by his siblings; Randy Jacob, Jan Jacob, and Shari (Jacob) Gardner. Along with his mother and father.
Private services have been held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Saginaw, MI, with Pastor Daniel P. Garbow Officiating.
