Jeffery James Earle

Jeffery “Jay” James Earle of Bridgeport, Michigan

Beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. He was 40 years old. Jeffery James Earle was born on August 27, 1984, in Saginaw, Michigan to Michael James and the late Atlee G. (Gray) Earle. He was a 2004 graduate of Bridgeport High School. Following graduation, Jay proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. He was deployed to Afghanistan where he fought in the Iraq War, rose to the rank of corporal, and was honorably discharged after six years of loyal and dedicated service. Upon his return, Jay worked for Stress Con Industries and Duro-Last Roofing Company. Known as “Chef Jay,” he enjoyed cooking out and being the grill master of the home, especially on the 4th of July, his favorite holiday. He would put on some of the most amazing fireworks shows for those he loved. He also enjoyed getting on the zero-turn and mowing his yard. A family man at heart, what truly made his life feel full and complete, was spending time with his family. Jay will forever and fondly be remembered by his family as “the life of the party,”, the “entertainer,” and for selflessly putting other people’s needs ahead of his own.

Surviving are two sons: Jeffery Earle Jr and Jackson Earle of Saginaw; father, Michael J. Earle of Bridgeport; a sister, Linda (Brent) Voris of Birch Run; a brother, Michael Earle Jr., two nephews: Taylon Earle and Terrance Watson III; two nieces, Lillie Watson and Chloe Voris; two aunts, Patty Jones of Hemlock; Marion Butler of St. Charles; two uncles, Dale (Barb) Earle of Merrill; Arthur (Nikki) Gray of Oscoda. Also surviving are many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Atlee G. Earle.
