Jeffery Dewayne Jones

Beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of 56 years. 

Jeff was born on September 19, 1967, son of the late Luella Jones, in Monroe, Louisiana. Jeff received an Associates degree from Saginaw Valley. He had been employed at Lowe’s and loved watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music, watching old karate movies and spending time with his family and friends. Jeff had a bright, energetic personality and was known for helping people in his community. Jeff will be remembered for his giving heart and warm smile.

Jeff will be truly missed by his sister, Jacqueline Jones; brothers, Darrell Jones, Barren Jones and Arthur Burnside, Jr., all of Saginaw; nieces and nephews, Kierra Jones, Briyona Jones, Derrick Jones, Darrell Jones, Garrian and Jayden Dawkins; great nephew, Bryson Buckley; godmother, Geneva Curry; many special relatives and friends. Besides his mother, Luella, Jeff was predeceased by his nephew, Marcus Buckley, uncles, Cornelius Jones, Jeff Jones, Jr., aunts, Magnolia Jones, Kelly Jones and Lucy Mae Jackson. 

Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Gideon Christ Community Church, 915 Federal Avenue. Bishop Chet Atkins will officiate.
