Jeanette Marie Wuolukka, a beloved member of her community and family, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on November 17, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the daughter of Joseph Frasle and Adeline (Sauve) Frasle.
Throughout her life, Jeanette was known for her dedication to both her work and her family. She built a successful career, having worked for Wolverine Worldwide, Micro Tec, and Kenny Pickles.
Jeanette was a devoted member of St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Church, where her faith was an integral part of her life. She embraced her community with love and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand.
Jeanette cherished her family gatherings, often delighting everyone with her "Famous Taco Salad." Her passion for family extended to the thoughtful gesture of sending greeting cards and birthday wishes to her loved ones, ensuring that they felt celebrated and cherished. She also had a fondness for game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right, which brought her joy and entertainment.
Jeanette was united in marriage with Earl B. Wuolukka on October 28, 1967. Earl preceded her in death on September 24, 2004. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Adeline Frasle; and sisters Peggy Turner and Lisa Frasle.
Jeanette leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Jackie Wuolukka; her granddaughter Harley (Dustin Herbers) Wuolukka; and her great-grandson Stearling Herbers. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marlene (Blane Bashans) Wenzel and Connie (Daniel) Maquet, and her brother Phillip (Debi) Frasle; nephew David (Shari) Frasle and niece Kellie (Adam) Clark, along with numerous other nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. Jeanette is further survived by her sister-in-law Audrey Turbin, brother-in-law Rick Wuolukka, and brother-in-law Patrick Grzesiak.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 125 E Saginaw St, Merrill, MI 48637. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 445 S Midland St, Merrill, MI 48637, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. Fr. Sunil Pallela will officiate the service, with interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
