Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 73 years. The daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Cornelius) Fritz was born on September 15, 1944 in Saginaw. She enjoyed collecting angels. Jean was a people person and loved spending time with her family and friends and especially cherished family gatherings. Surviving are her son, Jeremy (Jayme) Bierlein, grandchildren: Jared Bierlein, Jordan Bierlein, her brother Richard (Penny) Fritz, many relatives and friends including her dear friend Lynne Hoeppner. She was predeceased by her sister Luella Hand and brother Robert Fritz. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the memorial service.
