Janet Norene Beetley (Gates) of Alma passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, in Merrill, Michigan. Janet was born in Stanton, Michigan, to the late George & Elsie (Stearns) Gates on September 13^th, 1932, and married Horace “Lyle” Beetley on May 26^th, 1951. He preceded her in death on August 30^th, 1994. She worked in janitorial services for most of her life, retiring out of Alma College after 45 years of dedicated service.
