Jim would engineer and build his own cars from scratch. He enjoyed going to various car shows, especially with his wife and very dear friends. Jim loved watching NASCAR and NHRA Racing. He found solace in walking, even participating in several 5K walks, winning multiple medals. Jim had a strong interest in civil war history and was a proud University of Michigan fan.
