Geese, James C. Carrollton, MI Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle peacefully went home to the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2013, with his family by his side. James was born November 1, 1937, in Saginaw to the late Clarence and Mary (Christensen) Geese. He married Judyanne Rose Chase on August 1, 1970, she survives him. He retired from J.C. Penney in 1989 after 30 years of service. He also owned Carrollton Ceramics. James was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching TV, and playing BINGO. He and his dog Peanut spent many hours looking out the window to watch over his neighborhood. Besides his wife Judy he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Geese; granddaughter, Julia Rose Louks; son-in-law, Brian Louks; siblings, Barb Meehleder, Robert Geese, and Karen (Don) Saumier; sister-in-law, Rosemary Taft; brother-in-law, Rodney (Karen) Chase; many nieces and nephews; and close friend, Bruce Klenow. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Louks. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 9, 2013, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5250 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Homer Mosley Jr. will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road and on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
