James Alexander Kokas

James. A Kokas was born on Dec 29, 1932 in Avoros, Greece to Alexios and Gianitsa (Siolas) Kokaliaris. He traveled and entered the US via Ellis Island in 1950. He married Mary Demetrakopoulos on Oct 30, 1955. James was a veteran serving in the US army from 1951-1953. James was self employed, owning multiple businesses including the Liberty Bar, Holiday Party Store and Alexander’s Lounge which he retired from in 1994. He was a member of St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and served on the board including one term as president.
