Jacqueline Joan Dyer, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saginaw on June 23, 1940 to Frank and Sarah Santino (Fulco), Jacqueline lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep devotion to her loved ones.

Jacqueline's early years were spent in Saginaw, where she graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Richard Dyer Sr., and a cherished mother to her children. After contributed her skills as a bookkeeper, Jacqueline transitioned into the role of motherhood and caring for her family.

Known for her incredibly social nature, Jacqueline had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and cherished. She was the go-to aunt for all her nieces and nephews, always ready with a listening ear, insightful advice, and a seemingly endless well of wisdom. Her home was a hub of activity and love, a place where family always came first.

Jacqueline found joy in many things. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, rarely missing a game if she could help it, and her enthusiasm was infectious. Trips to the casino brought her excitement, and she had a particular fondness for collecting Beanie Babies. Bowling was another passion that brought her both friendly competition and camaraderie. Most importantly, Jacqueline treasured every moment spent with her family, and she delighted in traveling to visit them, cherishing the time they shared. Her Tuesday lunches with her daughter is a tradition that will surely be missed.

Jacqueline was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, finding solace and community in her faith.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Julie (David) McGlaughlin, Richard Dyer Jr, and David Dyer; her grandchildren, Cassie (Cameron) Scott, Beth (Stephen) Hare, DJ (Sydney) McGlaughlin, and Andrew (Sara) McGlaughlin; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that will hold her memory dear.

Alongside her parents, Jaqueline was preceded in passing by her wonderful husband, Richard; and her brothers and sisters, Frances, Luciano, Anna, Ralph, Mary, Joseph, and Theresa.

Jacqueline's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering family dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Anthony of Padua Church, 3680 S. Washington Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601. Fr. Alberto Vargas will officiate. Guests may visit with the family on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at W.L Case and Company Funeral Directors, 5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw, MI 48601, and again at church from 10:00 am until the time of mass.
