Passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Age 68 years.

Jack was born on October 22, 1951, son of the late Gustav “Jack” and Bernadette (Giltrop) Zietz, in Saginaw. He served in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam Era. Jack married Donna Lee Kowalski on April 5, 1975. She survives him. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699. Jack was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and volunteered caring for the cemetery grounds.

Jack is survived by his wife, Donna Lee Zietz; their children, Jason Zietz of Allegan, MI, Vanesa (Darin) Dickinson of Glenwood Springs, CO and Heath (Peggy Andres) Zietz of Ortonville, MI; grandchildren, Isaac, Horatio and Samantha; brothers, Jerry (Barb) Zietz, Terry (Bethann) Zietz, Wayne Zietz and sister, Joan (Keith) Ter Bush. He was predeceased by his brothers, Tom and Harry Zietz.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Francis and Clare Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 12157 Church St. Birch Run. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 28, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
