Passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of 91 years.
The daughter of the late Daisy (Baughman) and Edward Methner was born on February 11, 1930 in Coleman. She was a graduate of Coleman High School then later of the St. Mary’s school of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at both St. Mary’s then Saginaw General Hospital. She married Peter Dominguez on September 16, 1961, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church; he survives her. She was active member at Warren Ave. Presbyterian Church and upon its closing became a member at Country Trinity Church. In her youth, Isabella was active with and leading 4-H teams. Isabella enjoyed baking, gardening, and volunteering at the soup kitchen and with her church. She also enjoyed cheering on the Michigan State Spartan basketball team.
Surviving besides her husband of 60 years, Peter, are their children: Ed (Teri) Dominguez, Anne (Eric) Pence, Paul (Julie) Dominguez, grandchildren: Ethan Pence and Logan Dominguez, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Kathryn Fike.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at Countryside Trinity Church, 4690 Weiss Rd. Rev. Dr. Jane Lynn Young will officiate with burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Countryside Trinity Church.
