Irma June "Grandma June" Brister

Brister, Irma June "Grandma June" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at St. Francis Home after a lengthy illness. June Bunting was born July 7, 1932, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy Leona (Harper) Bunting. She married Royce E. "Tex" Brister on June 11, 1951; he predeceased her September 6, 1987. Her world was her children and grandchildren. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Donald Joe Brister and fiance Sheila Kolhoff, Dorothy Lee Brister, and Royce Earl Brister Jr. and his wife Connie; five grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Brister and fianc Joe Cerino, Shannon Brister, Royce Joseph Brister, Shane and Brian Roe; two great-granddaughters, Finley June and Kennedy Cerino; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Josh Brister, four brothers, Ned, Don, Pete and Jim Bunting; one sister, Irene Brousseau. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N.
