Thompson, Hester Emilie Saginaw, Michigan Loving mother and grandmother passed away on March 3, 2013 at the age of 95 years. The daughter of the late Dr. A. Raymond and Beatrice J. (Jackson) Moon was born August 28, 1917 in Saginaw. She was a graduate of Alma College, with a degree in education. She married Dr. Arthur B. Thompson on August 16, 1941; he predeceased her on February 27, 1991. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pit & Balcony, Saginaw Club, Saginaw General Hospital Auxiliary, and The Assistance League. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and built miniatures. Surviving are her children; Pamela (Timothy) Longworth, Richard (Hilary) Thompson, 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law; Anne Thompson, niece Deborah McGowan. She was predeceased by son J. Andrew Thompson, grandson Patrick J. Thompson and brother Dr. William Moon. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Oakwood Mausoleum; 5950 Gratiot Rd.
