The son of the late Helen Ruth (Gunther) and Herbert J. Nelson was born August 16, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served with the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Eaton Manufacturing Corp for 38 years. He loved to read and sing to the Oldies.
Surviving are a sister and two brothers, Sally and James VanWagner, Florida; Bruce and Iris Nelson, Arlington, VA; Barry and Carol Nelson, Columbia, WA; his special friend, Patricia Pruden; a stepdaughter, Amy Pruden; his grandchildren, La’Zaria Morales; Enrique’ (Merina) Morales; Lexi Pruden; Jade’yn Pruden; two great-grandchildren, Sergio Morales, Enrique’ Morales Jr; several nieces.
In accordance with Herbert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held later. www.casefuneralhome.com
