Our loving mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2023. Age 93 years.

Helen was born on January 17, 1930, daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle (Frost) Seidel, in Saginaw. She married John “Ken” Biver on July 18, 1959. He predeceased her on April 3, 1994. Helen was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed worshiping the Lord and serving on the church ministries; quilting, bazaars, LWML and the bereavement luncheon coordinators. Helen loved vegetable and flower gardening, canning and quilting. She was a true farm girl at heart. She enjoyed using her skills she learned as a young girl growing up on a farm. Helen was very caring and dependable, helping those in their time of need and making sure the task at hand was accomplished. She will be remembered for being a very loving and nurturing mother to her family.

Helen is survived by her son, David (Shelley) Biver; grandson, Justin (Amy) Biver; granddaughter, Sarah Bergelin; great grandchildren, Brick and Ember Biver; former daughter-in-law, Scarlet Biver; many nieces and nephews, including her special nieces, Ruth (Don) Jelneck and Nancy (Ray) Scott; and her special friends, Ed and Shirley Frank. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Biver and her brothers, Hank and Frank Seidel.

Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Road. Deacon Jeff Rauschert will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 29. 2023, at the church, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
