Went to be with the Lord Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Francis home, at the age of 104. Helen was born May 19, 1914 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Michael and Janetta (Blower) Papst. She married Albert W. (Bill) Trinklein May 20, 1939, he predeceased her January 12, 1991. She was a faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church. Helen enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and Gents and Gennies Seniors. She enjoyed watching television, especially game shows. Helen also enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and friends by telephone. She was friendly and would never say no to anyone and often had many relatives living with her at one time or another. She accredits her longevity to drinking both water and Mountain Dew. Surviving are her nephew, Robert and Margaret Ortman, Hemlock; Several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three step-brothers. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 22, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd. Rev Joshua Becker will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
