Passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 81 years. Harvey was born on February 26, 1942 in Saginaw, to the late Harvey and Henrietta (Pape) Mellon. He graduated from Sts. Peter and Paul High School and then went on to serve in United States Army. Harvey married Pamela Sauve in January of 1971: she predeceased him in 2000. Harvey worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Raybestos Brakes. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, especially with his wife, and going up north golfing with his friends. Harvey also loved following his grandchildren’s sporting activites. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, the Fordney Club, the 100 Club, and was a former member of the Germania Town and Country Club and Saginaw Country Club.

Harvey is survived by a daughter, Kimberley Lynn Johnson, her husband Bryan, and their children Tyler and Brayden, of Williamston, and a son Christopher Allen Mellon, his wife Kerri, their children Alec and Joshua and step-sons Drew and Chase, of Saginaw.

Funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 28, 2023, at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw Street. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends and family will be received from 3:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. Friends and family may also visit on Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass.
