Harold “Craig” Frye of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Saginaw. He was 74 years old. Harold Craig Frye was born on November 21, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Harold Eugene and Florence (Roche) Frye. He was a proud graduate of Avon Lake High School in Avon Lake, Ohio. While out with friends, he met the love of his life, Julie Mae VanMullekom. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 10, 1987; she survives him. Craig studied at Delta College for a few years, desiring to become an engineer. He was employed by the City of Saginaw as a Data processor for many years. Craig enjoyed the excitement of watching NASCAR on television, as well as watching airplane or air related programs. He loved his pets, especially his cat, Lefty, and dog, Sadie.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Julie M. Frye of Saginaw; five children: Ryan (Rachel) Frye of Saginaw; Megan (Jason) Sholtz of Chesaning; Matthew Frye of PA; Nicholas Frye of Hemlock; Melissa Frye Reznar of Southern Michigan ; four grandchildren: Eben and Elijah Frye of Saginaw; Mason and Jack Sholtz of Chesaning. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Eugene and Florence Frye.
