Harold Arthur Melton passed away on January 25, 2026, at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab, at the age of 74. He was born on March 26, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Carroll and Betty Melton.

Harold was known for his quick wit and endless sense of humor. He found joy in drawing and treasured every moment spent with the people he loved. His lighthearted spirit and genuine kindness left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Harold is survived by his wife, Sandy Melton; his siblings, Steve and Vivienne; sister‑in‑law, Linda Sandefur; nephew, Doyle (Maria) Sandefur; great‑nieces, Meghann (Bruce) and their children, Gabryelle (John); great-nephew Eryk; and a very special lifelong friend Ronald Buggia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eugene.

In keeping with Harold's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for April 11, 2026, at 4:30pm at Swan Valley United Methodist Church, 9265 Geddes Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Reverend Kenny Walkup will officiate. The family invites guests to join them at 3:30pm for a meal at the church before the service.
