Gwendolyn "Gwen" G. Fick of Saginaw, Michigan 

Today we say our final goodbyes to this wonderful woman. Gwendolyn Gay Fick, 76, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, June 7, 2024. 

Gwendolyn, beloved wife of John Fick; much loved mother of Jackie (Kevin) Hepinstall and Jill (Dave) DeShone; cherished grandmother of Cody, Peyton, Ayden, Adrianna, and Colten. 

Gwen lived a full life as a mother, homemaker, and dedicated wife. Her deep love for her family will be remembered and cherished. She was very close to all her grandchildren, made the most delicious apple and rhubarb pies, kept an immaculate house, enjoyed painting, camping, reading, walking, traveling, and sewing. Gardening was her true passion along with her Catholic Faith. She was a lay minister at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Honoring Gwen's wishes, cremation has taken place. 

A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road, Saginaw, MI, 48609. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Toni & Trish Hospice House in Auburn, where Gwen spent her last days with the excellent care they provided.
