Our loving father, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 46 years.

Guadalupe, affectionately called Chief by his family and friends, was born on February 2, 1979, son of the late Guadalupe and Esmeralda (Delgado) Lopez, Sr., in Saginaw. He was an amazing father, that was loving, understanding and played video games with his sons, Pika and Alex. Chief loved caring for others, had a genuine, good spirit, a hard worker and dependable at any given time. He will be remembered for being a great person to know and a great friend to have.

Chief will be sorely missed by his sons, Guadalupe Lopez, III “Pika” and Alejandro Lopez; sisters and brothers, Octaviana Lopez (Jose Ortiz), Manuel (Jamie) Lopez, Raul Rodriguez (Kassandra Manry), Debbie Baskin, Jose Lopez, Guadalupe Espinosa and Diana Lopez; his significant other, Jennifer Thom and mother of his youngest son; his former spouse and mother of his oldest son, Kristie Lopez; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his cousin, Felipe Vasquez, uncle and aunt, Jose and Delia Delgado and uncle, Carlos Delgado.

Funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Road with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the chapel from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the family.
