Gretchen Aileen Coats Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away Wednesday October 21, 2015. Age 41 years. The daughter of Judith Dayle (Fischer) Coats-Crowson and William Henry Coats was born April 15, 1974 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Brian Lee Miller Coats, June 26, 1999. He survives her. Gretchen was an accomplished artist, jewelry designer and worked with Beyond Beadery of Colorado. She was a member of the Beadettes and had attended First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are besides her husband, Brian, and her parents, William Henry Coats, Midland, MI; Judith Dayle Coats-Crowson, Washington, DC; are two children, Xavier William Coats and Aiden Rylan Coats; a brother and sister, Anderson William Coats, Denver, CO; Megan Michelle Mullins, Muncie, IN; her step-brother and step-sisters, Daniel Steven Fettinger, San Francisco, CA; Leigh Ellen Babcock, Midland, MI; Anne Elizabeth Valentino, San Francisco, CA; her brother-in-law, Paul Justin Miller and her sister-in-law, Michelle Marie Miller-Martinez; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandparents, June and Floyd Fischer; Virginia and Freeman Coats. The funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church, 121 Harrison St. Saginaw. Rev. Ted McCullouch will officiate. Friends may call at the Church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
