Gregory S. Cradit

Merrill, Michigan

      Went to be with the Lord, suddenly, Monday, July 3, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Age 68 years.

      The son of the late Pearl Eva (Risley) and Kenneth Cradit was born May 24, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan.  He married the love of his life, Anne M. Hess, February 14, 1998. She survives him.   Greg retired from Delphi (General Motors) with 30 years of service. He had served as Chaplain of V.F. W. Post 1859 Honor Guard. He enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, fishing, his Lord and church and most of all spending time with his family.

     Surviving besides his wife, Anne, are two step-daughters, Katharen Kissane; Colleen Dietrich; his step-grandchildren, Amanda, Brianna, Caylee; his sisters, Kay Eastman and Brenda (Jim) Carol; his mother-in-law, Leota A. Brechtelsbauer; his father-in-law, Sid (Diane) Hess; a brother-in-law, Jeff Denoma; his sisters-in-law, Dawn Hess, Nadine Trissler, Melissa K. Richards, Donna Wallschlager, Denise (Kevin) Eickmeyer, and Heidi; many nieces, nephews, and his special friends, Tom Cusick, Shawnee Klemm, Kevin and Sue Williams; his fur babies, Lucas and Bear. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Ken Cradit, his father-in-law, Allen Brechtelsbauer, two brothers-in-law, Jerry Eastman, Bernie Trissler and a sister-in-law, Lisa Denoma.

    The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 6100 Perrine Rd. Midland, Michigan 48640.  Pastor Dan Dickerson will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the family.
