Gloria K. Sprunger

Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Age 81 years.

Gloria was born on March 2, 1941, daughter of the late Wilman and Gladys (Augsburger) Yoder, in Berne, Indiana. She was a graduate of Berne-French High School, Class of 1959 and was voted Homecoming Queen. She married the love of her life, Allen Sprunger on August 1, 1959. He survives her. She was a member of Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazerene and served alongside her husband, Rev. Allen Sprunger for 31 years. She enjoyed traveling to Europe with Allen, ceramics, playing the piano and spending time with her family. Gloria’s laughter, kind heart and sweet spirit will be missed.

Surviving are her husband, Allen; daughters, Cindy (Terry) Letzkus, Jan (Paul) Brashaw and Patty (Brad) Kennedy; grandchildren, Brittany DeHaven, Trent (Lauren) Letzkus, Andrew (Gretchen) Brashaw, Katie (Matt) Lyle, Melissa Brashaw, Mandy (Jason) Lipscomb and Kristin (Jordan) Vollmar; 15 great grandchildren; her brother Earl (Nancy) Yoder.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene, 1815 Tittabawassee Road. Rev. Chris DeMott will officiate with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time service.
