Cooper, Gertrude D. Hale, Michigan Loving mother, grandmother, and friend went home to her eternal savior on Friday, May 22, 2015, at the age of 84. Gertrude was born December 14, 1930, in Saginaw to the late William and Dorothea (Marks) Kobs. She married Willis Cooper on May 16, 1953; he predeceased her on December 8, 2011. She was a life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed many years with her birthday club friends and her special friends up at the lake. She is survived by her children, David Cooper and Julie (Alan) Renz; grandchildren, Luke, Lincoln, Preston, and Landon; and her sister Erna (Roy) Maurer. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1020 Court St. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
