Geraldine K. Leis Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017, at the age of 83 years. Geraldine was born December 18, 1933, in Saginaw to the late John and Mollie (Arnst) Monsees. She married Henry Christian Leis Jr.; he predeceased her in 1979. She enjoyed travelling and had an adventurous spirit. She loved spending time with her family, holidays, and collecting angels. She will be missed by her children, Kathy Volz, Carol Leis, and Michael Leis; grandchildren, Shannon Leis-Dunnuck, Michelle Volz, and Nicole Volz; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Justin Dunnuck, Christopher Talkington, Dylan Visel, Veneicia Gonzalez, Diego Stachura; great-great-grandchild, Journey Marr; siblings, Mary Poineau and Roy (Nancee) Monsees; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Geraldines life will take place from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at American Legion Post 22 at 2200 S. Niagara.
