Passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at his home with his family by his side at the age of 76 years. The son of the late Alvin and Alberta (McClain) Boucher was born on December 5, 1941 in Pine Run, MI. He retired from General Motors Grey Iron Foundry after 25 years of service. Gerald married Patricia J. Baase on November 2, 1963 she survives him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with projects. Surviving are his loving wife Patricia Boucher, his children, Gerald (Dawn), Matthew (Dawn) Patricia Kime (Roger) Terri Dittenber (Dale) Steven (Annette); grandchildren; Roger Kime Jr. (April), James Wilk (Sarah), Alexander Wilk, Ashley Boucher, Joshua Boucher, Cheyanne Boucher, Ryder Dittenber, Calvin Dittenber, Irene Kime, Cassandra Kime, Brianna Boucher, Jozalynn Boucher, Miles Kime, Savannah Boucher and Nicholas Kime, and nine great grandchildren, his sister; Gloria (Jean) Helsel, sisters and brothers-in-law; Harriet (James) Barror, Henry (Daine) Baase, Linda (Jerry) Sykes, Harold (Gayle) Baase, Ellen (James) Emmendorfer and Shirley (Dennis) Tessin, along with many nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased in death by both his parents, his mother and father in-law, his brothers Alvin (Sonny),and Ronald Boucher, his sisters Donna Baase, brother in-laws Howard and Franklin Baase, sister in-laws Emily Cline and Jessie Hall, a very special nephew Ricky Boucher along with several other nieces and nephews. His sister, Doris Boucher, predeceased him. Funeral service will take place at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy., Saginaw, MI 48601 at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Rev. Arnold Burger will officiate with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Burt, MI. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 12:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday May 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
