Gerald E. Morin Birch Run, Michigan Our beloved husband and father passed away May 7, 2016, after a lengthy illness at the age of 60 years. Jerry was born July 12, 1955, in Saginaw to the late Vernon and Hazel (Curtis) Morin. He married Nancy Desrosier on April 23, 1977; she survives him. He worked for Heartland Health Care and Waste Management until he had to retire due to his illness. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and being with his son. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 39 years, Nancy; his son, Jeremiah; siblings, David (Mary) Morin, Glenn (Carol) Morin, Patti Ryan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Peggy and Theodore Desrosier; siblings-in-law, Kevin (Sharon) Desrosier and Lisa (Michael) Tuzas; special nieces and nephew, Lisa (Troy) Tyson, Peggy (Brian) Jones, Michael (Marie) Tuzas; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Scott Ryan and sister-in-law, Theresa Lewis. The family would like to thank Amy and Amanda, the staff of Covenant, Dr. M.A. Kahn, and Dr. Meldrum for the wonderful care they provided to Jerry. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway. Chaplain Doug Bassett will officiate the service.
