Our loving sister and aunt, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Age 74 years. Geneva was born on November 24, 1943, daughter of the late Bert and Lola (Wymer) Goodman, in Saginaw. God blessed our family with such a very happy and loving person. Geneva was very fond of animals, especially dogs and cats. She loved her family, whether it was looking at family pictures or going to gatherings and dancing with her brother, Bert. She often attended Bridgeport Baptist Church with her caregivers and friends. Geneva will be missed by her sisters; Ruth Mader and Carol Long of Birch Run; her brother, Bert (Peggy) Goodman of St. Charles; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Wanda Long, her brothers, Arthur and Jerry Goodman. Genevas family would like to thank her many special caregivers for their extraordinary love and care, including Janet LaLonde. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Chaplain Michael Weslock will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
